Nordri designed and specified an integrated solar PV system for the customer after being approached for provide a roof mounted solution.

Viridian Clearline Fusion was used to keep the system flush to the roof and because of the excellent, strong fixings of this system to give a "Shetland proof" PV installation.

Nordri arranged the supply of all materials and the provision of roofing subcontractors to complete the job to the customer's satisfaction. The array was designed to make the maximum use of the available roof space and to integrate with the customer's hot water system.

The reduced his PV export to the grid, and increased his self-consumption of generated solar energy to almost 90%, an excellent figure which reduced his annual electricity bill by over £600.
