Scatsta Dispensing & Standby Fuel Tank
Scatsta airport approached Nordri to simplify and improve their fuel dispensing setup.
There have been various tanks in different locations around the airfield, filled at different times with various folk supervising them.
Nordri surveyed and inspected all the existing tanks before specifying and proposing a solution for a single steel bunded tank which could supply both airside vehicles and the airports standby generator.
Nordri oversaw the design of the tank along with the manufacturer to give a bespoke solution whereby the same tank could be used to fuel up their vehicles, but there would always be a guaranteed minimum level in the tank to allow the required run time for the standby generator without needing two separate tanks.
We then supplied and installed the tank, with installation done outside of airport operating hours to allow for continuous use during opening times. The tank’s installation covered all logistics and delivery, removal, and disposal of old tanks, securing of new tank, electrical connections and replumbing of the standby generator fuel lines.
