Apprentice JoinerApprentice Mechanical Engineer
Nordri is looking for two enthusiastic individuals to join our team as an Apprentice Joiner and an Apprentice Mechanical Engineer.

Nordri is a forward thinking, innovative business in Shetland, where you'll work alongside our experienced team, learning essential skills in a hands-on environment. As a Nordri apprentice, you’ll collaborate on a range of different tasks; from installations to repairs, and receive live training that will set you on the path towards becoming a certified joiner/mechanical engineer.

ABOUT THE ROLES
Working under the supervision of our teams to complete tasks
Attend college
Assisting with the installation and maintenance of a range of projects
Collaborating with Nordri’s multidisciplinary team including Project Managers, Joiners, Plumbers, Electricians, Mechanical Engineers and Solar Technicians
Maintain a clean and organised work area and van
Follow all safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations
DESIRABLE SKILLS
Working at National 5 level
Basic knowledge of equipment
Ability to use and knowledge of basic hand tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Ability to work as part of a team with good communication skills
A passion to learn and succeed within the industry
